My Story

I am Srikrish Tentu, a permaculture practitioner drawn to the quiet intelligence of natural systems. My journey began in 2013 when I started working on an eight-acre piece of land that had been stripped of its topsoil after years of chemical farming. What first appeared as barren ground slowly became my greatest teacher. Through observation, patience, and years of learning about permaculture, soil regeneration, and ecological design, I began to understand how landscapes heal when we work with nature rather than against it. Over time, that land transformed into a living food forest, rich with biodiversity and life. This experience shaped my vision: to restore degraded lands, rebuild living soils, and help create ecosystems that can sustain themselves and the communities around them.

The surrounding environment of Krish’s is remote and facilities are basic but for us we really appreciated the quietness and slower/simpler pace of daily life, with occasional trips to the local village.
